About Beam

Beam is a paid remote screen access service. It was created to give a small number of users a straightforward way to access remote screens through the Beam network, without the complexity of larger remote-desktop suites.

What Beam does

Beam consists of two parts. Hosts install a small program that creates a session with a short code. Viewers pay for a key, install the viewer, and use the code and their key to connect. Everything runs over a secure connection.

What Beam does not do

• Beam does not record or store the content of any session.
• Beam does not sell user data.
• Beam does not offer file transfer, chat, or team collaboration features.
